The brain reflex is located on the big toe (or the thumb) and includes three smaller reflex points; the pituitary gland, the pineal gland, and the hypothalamus, which are all key for stimulating and producing ‘happy hormones’ for the body:
💓 Dopamine is known as the ‘feel good’ hormone and is associated with pleasurable sensations
💓 Serotonin helps regulate your mood
💓 Oxytocin is known as the ‘love hormone’ and is important for building warm feelings like trust, empathy and bonding
💓 Endorphins are known as our body’s ‘natural pain reliever’ and are also amazing mood-lifters
By working the brain reflex during a Reflexology session I can help stimulate the production of endorphins and these ‘happy hormones’ to boost your sense of well-being.
